The thing about the Peters Hellcat that’s striking to me are:
- Buckeye burl top and choice of color and finish (greenish copper)
- Bridge
- Tailpiece
The bridge looks especially interesting as you normally don’t see it curved. The tailpiece looks like it belongs on an archtop, but it lacks the standard bridge normally seen on archtops. So you get a hybrid: a bridge design normally reserved for electric guitars (but made of wood), with a tailpiece reserved for an archtop. Pretty interesting choices with some great wood and color combinations.
