The Sakashta Blackjack was made for jazz guitar legend, Pat Martino. It’s essentially a Style NY Version-R model, but with extra features for Pat. You can’t see it in the photo, but there’s an inlaid BlackJack pair of cards on the back of the headstock (most likely homage to the Martino tune, BlackJack). It’s visually stunning. Note also the lower bout Florentine cutaway and abalone dot in the slight scroll. This is a Sakashta signature in a few of his guitars.
Sadly, this was sold by Pat to most likely a lucky collector and it hasn’t been seen since.
