Ramos Arise Series

Modern guitars almost invariably have some different body look and features that differ significantly from vintage instruments. One key feature is headless.  Though the look is somewhat daunting and polarizing for many guitar players, they are slowly gaining acceptance — especially in more modern styles like jazz and progressive metal.

Ramos Guitars is one luthier who has recently ventured into the headless world. His Arise model guitar features some standard features you see in such guitars, with the exception of it being through-neck construction.  This is a bit unique in the headless world, and one that might make sense given that many headless guitars (like the groundbreaking Steinberger or Klein) have extremely stiff necks used in their construction.

The look, style, and general construction are very nice, and is a welcome addition to the group of headless guitar makers around the world.
