.strandberg* headless guitars

I’ve always loved headless guitars, ever since Steinberger came out with their GL series. The scale length of the guitar is the same as a normal guitar, but the length of it is smaller — allowing easier travel. The balance can be designed so that it’s easier to hold and your hand is at a nice pitch. And the headless tuners can typically be much more fine-tuned.

Since Steinberger doesn’t really make GL or GM guitars anymore, and Klein Electric is no longer making guitars, there are not too many makers of headless guitars that aren’t fully custom. .strandberg* guitars is one maker that is putting out standard and signature models that fit this niche nicely.

Coming out of Sweden, .strandberg* is carrying on the tradition of headless guitars but with full bodies, unique wood options, constructions, and custom hardware.  There are basically three body styles to choose from: Boden, Varberg, and Masvidalien (the latter being part of a signature series and the one shown in the picture above).

If headless is your thing, you should definitely take a look at .strandberg*.
